Egg Freezing

Fertility Package

Egg Freezing

Egg freezing involves the process of collecting and freezing a woman's eggs, which are then stored in liquid nitrogen at very low temperatures for future use. This method helps preserve egg viability so they remain healthy and functional for years to come in order to restore fertility.

Short-term egg freezing stores eggs for up to a maximum of 3 months. This package is usually recommended for patients who want to freeze additional eggs for a short period, such as during a shorter IVF or ICSI treatment cycle, when the couple has not yet decided about treatment progress, or when additional eggs collected during oocyte retrieval are not included in the treatment package.

Long-term egg freezing stores eggs for up to a maximum of 1 year. This package is often chosen by patients who want to preserve fertility for a longer period because of lifestyle changes, medical or surgical reasons, cancer treatment, or similar circumstances.

Inclusions include freezing of up to 3 eggs, media and consumable charges, laboratory charges, hospital charges, and a detailed report showing egg storage details.

Oocyte retrieval, drugs and laboratory investigations are not included because these vary from patient to patient. The clinic takes a personalised approach and gives patients flexibility to complete laboratory investigations with another registered diagnostic laboratory when financially feasible.

Patients should note that renewable charges apply at the end of storage terms. Renewable charges are based on the long-term package rate for storage up to 1 year.
